Player Events
Throughout the calendar year, Rugby Players Ireland runs several events for its members and partners. Through these engagements our members get to meet leaders within corporate Ireland and make connections that can last a lifetime. Our biggest event is the Zurich Irish Rugby Awards which take place each year in May. These are Ireland’s only national rugby awards. Affiliates Programme
Research has shown that over 70% of players in Ireland are actively seeking to develop a career outside of rugby. Through the Affiliates Scheme, businesses and organisations are invited to link with IRUPA on an official basis
to provide career support that specifically meets the needs and flexibility of current and/or former players.
